7/31/17
this week in a nutshell:

1. so I tried to make grilled pineapple the other day and I may or may not have set off the fire alarm in our apartment building LOL turns out I can't cook

2. my companion and I bought a box of hair dye for R$ 5 and spontaneously decided to dye our hair red

3. ZONE CONFERENCES aka the best thing ever with all the awesome revelation, motivation, inspiration, etc

4. our energy got cut haha and if you had to choose between not showering or showering in freezing cold water and in a freezing apartment, what would it be?

5. MIRACLE. okay so the other day, a girl, Andresa, came into the mission office and asked for the missionaries in her neighborhood to come visit her (turns out that's me & Sister Nascimento). Andresa's husband is less active and wants the missionaries to come over to reactivate him and she's willing to come with him or even without him to church and learn all about it to help him come back. aka somebody who is looking for the truth and holy cow miracles happen. We taught her one time and she's wonderful and we planned a family home evening (little get together with families with a short message and food because Mormon life isn't Mormon life without food). Sister Nascimento and I are SUPER super excited to teach her and she was our miracle for the week.

Basically life is wonderful here in Ribeirão and I love it and I hope you guys have an awesome week!! eu amo vocês!!!
