*100% sure that something is going to happen* *doesn't happen*

7/10/17
Alright so I'm pretty sure my email title just about sums missionary life hahaha because let's just say we planned the following:

1. 2 baptisms on Saturday
2. PDay at the mall because neither of us would get transfered
3. a plethora of other things

what actually happened:
1. Isabella, the girl who was going to get baptized on Saturday - her grandma went into the hospital in critical condition. We're really praying for her family.
2. After one transfer in Parque Celeste, I got transferred! aka spent most of my Pday on a bus to Ribeirão Preto, área Iraja!

Either way, I know that Sister Azevedo is gonna keep killin' it in Parque Celeste and that the amazing people that we're teaching will keep progressing. And I'm suuuuuper excited to finally be on this side of the mission! This transfer is going to be rad with my new comp, Sister Nascimento.

Anyway, this week I was studying A TON about repentance and the fact that we have to 1. acknowledge what we did wrong and 2. feel godly sorrow for it. Meaning that we have to reflect each day on what we have done/shouldn't have done/could've done better and feel sad when we realize something was out of line with God's commandments. And not a sadness because of the consequences or punishments of what happens, but sadness because we know that we disappointed our Heavenly Father. Also, Alma 5 is a killer chapter for that self reflection. Take a look at it.

Life is rad, being a missionary is rad. Have a rad week ♥

Todo o meu amor,
Sister Morata

Pictures:
alright so I promised my mom a ton of pictures but all I got this week are a couple of failed attempts at taking a cool picture of me dressed as an American flag on the Fourth of July (no I didn't actually leave my apartment dressed like that lol)
