açaí, miracles, the ônibus, and more açaí

7/17/17
first off, I feel bad for anyone whose never had an açaí bowl (not the ones at jamba juice lol) because Brasilian açaí is seriously one of the greatest things to ever exist on the planet. Sister Nascimento and I may or may not have bought a whole liter of açaí just for ourselves

secondly, we had an awesome week (trying not to use the work "rad" as much in my emails because my mom makes fun of me for it). One of the people we found this week is a woman named Beatriz and we were able to share the message of the Plan of Salvation aka the perfect plan God made for each of us and she loved it and when we came back, her sister was there and we 1) found out that she lives in our proselyting area (that never happens when you live close to Centro lol) and 2) we were able to teach them both about the Restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ and God's priesthood power on earth and they both loved it and are planning on coming to church this week! They are super awesome and yesterday was just chalk full of spiritual lessons and Sister Nascimento said a prayer of gratitude for all these miracles that the Lord has blessed us with this week.

also, Ribeirão Preto is HUGE and we have to take the ônibus everywhere haha.

but hey if you haven't seen it yet, take a peek at the new (new?) First Vision video (it's only about 5-6 minutes long) and it is super powerful and super awesome. It is an amazing reminder of what one prayer did that changed the world; a prayer of one 14 year old boy that ushered in the Restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ. All the keys and vital truths that were lost after the death of Jesus Christ were brought to the earth again because of a living prophet! I am so grateful for what happened on that day in the spring of 1820 and how this gospel has changed my life and given me strength, a strong and happy family, and a knowledge of my purpose here. The restored gospel is wonderful and I love having the opporunity to share it everyday as a representative of Jesus Christ!

Have a great week. I love you guys!

Todo o meu amor,
Sister Morata
