I have found the Brasilian Costco

Alright so pretty much my new area reminds me of San Diego or some other city in southern California because basically it's got a lot of green, a lot of hills, a lot of freeways, a lot of palm trees and basically I'm serving in the California, SometownontheI-15, Portuguese speaking mission and I'm loooooooving it here. The area is also super super big and we walk even more here than in my other area and I didn't know that was possible haha!

But this week has also been super rad because there was a baptism!! His name is Marcos and he's 18 and basically has all the prophets memorized and so many people came out to the baptism to support him and the Spirit was so strong! As for other people we're teaching, we're focusing a lot on trying to find new people to teach because we don't have too many people and nothing happens in missionary work without anybody to teach! It's our focus this week and I have faith that we'll fin the elects ;)

This week I'm also coming to appreciate more and more the Restoration of the gospel, all the sacrifices that Joseph Smith and the early saints made because of the faith and testimony they have of a living God who continues to speak to His children through prophets. I am so grateful for all that they did so that I could be here today, with all the happiness and peace and strength that I have. Make some time this week and read the Introduction to the Book of Mormon and think about the invitation there and all the people that sacrificed to bring that book into the world.
